Mother’s Day is right around the corner. That special day where we show mom that we are endlessly thankful for the all of the chauffeuring to soccer games, the drying of eyes and blowing of noses, the supportive hugs and bountiful advice!

This year give mom the day off and take her out. Let her put away the oven mitts and hang up the apron. Check out my list of fantastic brunch opportunities that will leave mom feeling full and loved!

1. Mother’s Day Jazzy Lakeside Brunch

Located at the historic Stephen Leacock property, take mom for a jazzy lakeside brunch overlooking Lake Couchiching. Enjoy locally sourced food while enjoying the sights and sounds on the historic Brewery Bay.

2. Mother’s Day at “R Cottage”

If you are looking for something a little more rustic why not check out this homespun & laid back gem, R Cottage in downtown Washago. Treat mom to their lobster features this Mother’s Day. It’s sure to make you the favourite!

3. Mother’s Day Brunch at Bayview Wildwood

Enjoy a picturesque view of Sparrow Lake while you enjoy brunch in the dining room at Bayview Wildwood Resort. From a carving station to Eggs Benedict to delicious desserts your mom will leave full and happy!

4. Mother’s Day Brunch at Hawk Ridge

Sit back and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the golf course and let the staff do the work while you enjoy spending time with your mom. The chef at Hawk Ridge is sure to create a delicious selection for you and the lady of the day!

5. Rustica Pizza Vino

Try out one of Orillia’s newest eateries, Rustica Pizza Vino. They are launching their Summer Brunch starting on Mother’s Day. Who doesn’t love waffles and breakfast pizzas made with fresh, delicious, ingredients. You know mom would love it!

However you choose to spend the day, be sure to thank your mom!
